Shengan Zheng entered the DDST lab to work on his undergraduate thesis in 2014. After receiving his bachelor degree from Shanghai JiaoTong University, he became a Ph.D. student (Advisor: Prof. Hong MEI). From 2015 to 2017, he participated in the 863 high-tech project “Key technologies and systems for in-memory computing for big data”. In late 2017, he went to the University of California, San Diego to study as a joint Ph.D. student. In 2018, he participated in the national science and technology major project “Distributed Memory File System” and mainly focus on the research and design of the persistent memory file system. During his Ph.D. period, he published several high-level papers in the CCF-A conference, FAST, CCF-B conference, MSST, ICD and CCF-B journal JPDC. He applied for 2 patents and received 2 scholarships. He completed his doctoral thesis defense in June 2019. He is currently working as a postdoctoral student at Tsinghua University.
